Use a Steel Boring Bar if you are reaching less than 4X Length to Diameter.  Use a Carbide Boring Bar is you are reaching between 4X to 8X Length to Diameter or if finish is critical. Also, if you have Coolant Thru use it whenever possible. Use Filters on Left to Narrow Down Boring Bar that is the Best Fit for Your Application.
